CALICUT UNIVERSITY DISTANCE EDUCATION ADMISSION 2022

Calicut university Distance Education is one of the prestigious universities located in Malappuram, Kerala. The university provides a number of courses in its curriculum including undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is one of the state-run universities, which provide distance education. For the admission process, the students need to face the entrance test and for some courses, it is based on the qualifying marks obtained in the previous exam.



ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

12th or undergraduate students who have completed their higher secondary education can apply for online distance learning undergraduate programs.

The students who want to apply for a post-graduate degree must have completed their graduation from a recognized and affiliated university with an average qualifying mark.

Admission to Calicut university distance learning depends on three key points entrance, group discussion, and viva. Students who will clear all these three rounds will only be able to take the admission.

ADMISSION PROCESS

For admission tothe Calicut distance learning program student need to follow the enlisted steps:

·         Visit the website of the university.

·         Opt for the option of the application form.

·         Fill out the application form with all the personal and educational qualifications.

·         Click apply option there.

·         Login with phone number and password.

·         Pay the supplication fees which are INR 200.

·         Save the receipt for future reference.

 

RELEASE OF ADMIT CARD

Admit cards are released 3 weeks before the examination dates. Students need to check all the credentials mentioned in the admit card. The examination centers located cant be changed in any case. For neglecting the delay in reaching the center for the examination students should reach one hour prior to the examination timings. Admit cards can be downloaded from the official website of the university from there download your admit card.

On the day of the examination, students need to carry a printout of admit card, an aadhar card, and one photograph. No student will be allowed with mobile phones and electronic gadgets in the examination hall.

ADMISSION RESULTS

·       Students should visit the SDE site

·       Select the exam result option and fill in the credentials.

·       Enter captcha.

·       Submit the credential and download the results.

Calicut University Distance Education Courses are of two types undergraduate ones and postgraduate ones. The undergraduate courses offered are BBA, B.COM, B.SC, and BA in Arabic, English, Hindi, economics, sociology, history, Malayalam, philosophy, and political science. The postgraduate courses are MBA, M.COM, M.SC, and MA in Arabic, English, Hindi, economics, history, Sanskrit, Malayalam,political science, and philosophy.
